After I’ve finished yesterday night all work, I had to do (writing e-mails, writing the long amazing story about meeting Richart and making everything ready to leave in the morning) it has been already shortly after midnight.
I was extreme tired, but at the end, Susanna could win me for a last drink. She will leave Isla Mujeres tomorrow and we just sat there in the night, talked about life and finally I got to bed around 2am.
It was nice, to talk with Susanna and hear some stories of our friends, who been together with us at the island about two month ago …
In her life, she was working for so long and then decided to start travelling and found out, that she will never be able to win back all the time, she lost in the past. Or to say it in a different way, all the time, she only worked.
Finally we decided it’s late enough, to go to bed and said “good bye” to each other, as we weren’t sure, if we will meet again in the morning.
I slept like a stone – after walking for so long on this day, in case there were Mosquitos in the room, I didn’t noticed them anymore! =P
This time there were more Mosquitos on this nice island, as it’s already the hurican season.
It was so hot, that we needed three ventilators in the dorm. I’m glad, there weren’t many people in my room, which would have make it become even more worse. Only two guys from Israel and myself.
Today I’ve got up at 6:30am, took first a shower, then went for breakfast and packed all my stuff. I met Susanna at the breakfast again, she told me the time and I had to start running to the ferry. Couldn’t even say good by – sorry about that, but as we are all travelling, it’s just a question of time, until you meet your friends by accident again somewhere on this small world! =)
I bought my ticket at the wrong desk for the ferries (same price) and went with a different boat. I think, it was the cheaper option for people from the island – for tourists, the prices are always the same …
I was first afraid, that this boat might takes much longer and understood once more the numbers in Spanish wrong – understood 50 minutes, when one guy told me 15 minutes …
Once the boat started, I got impressed! This kind of normal and a little bit old looking boat started off like a speed boat and made it in the same time like the expansive ferry. It was at the end very interesting, to see the way, people from the island travel.
In Cancun, I took again a small city van bus and reached the big ADO station without any troubles. From there took the bus for 30 minutes to the airport and arrived there very much earlier.
After checking in, I still had two hours time, bought lunch, went in a bar to enjoy a CokaCola, only to get access to there WLAN and finally took my flight to Miami.
Over here in the USA, you have to run through all the Visa stuff (first fill it out online – then fill out the green form in the airplane – give fingerprints – take photo …) even you are only going to take the next flight – even you are only in transit …
As well, I had to take my bag, go through costumer security service and drop it again right after there, as I’ve already checked in for all flight in Cancun.
I walked quite a bit, until I finally found free Internet here at the airport in Miami. Already went through all kind of security stuff and sitting now here to surf the web at the open WLAN I’ve found … – and waiting another hour for my flight ;)
Still miss my girlfriend SOOOO much !!! !!! !!!
Will try to get an Internet access again in London!
Good night everybody (here it’s now around 8pm ;)
